About the Vault
Ecto Vault is a love letter to Ghostbusters: part collector shop, part field archive and part very questionable paranormal infrastructure.
Why it exists
Built by somebody who actually cares about the details.
Ecto Vault began as a place to bring together the things that make Ghostbusters fandom brilliant: equipment design, prop building, collecting, odd bits of lore and the community’s ability to take a tiny on-screen detail wonderfully seriously.
The shop focuses on original fan-made equipment and collector pieces. Tried & Tested gives gear a proper hands-on review. Oh So Haunted records strange places and their histories. Vault Vote puts the community’s favourites on display.
The fiction around the collection
The industrial labels, containment warnings and terminal interfaces are part of the fun. The deeper Spectral Shell Handler is an ARG: a hidden story told through commands, recovered files and clues distributed across the site.
Everything is independent and fan-built. Ecto Vault is not affiliated with or endorsed by Sony Pictures.
